Charlotte at Faneuil Hall, Boston
Charlotte made an appearance,, complete with her race numbers on display, at the most recent Boston Area MG Club summer car show at historic Faneuil Hall in old downtown Boston on Sunday, August 29th.
It was a beautiful sunny & warm day, with lots of tourists and passers-by stopping to look at and sit in the various lovely MGs parked there on display. The shows, complete with a seasoned DJ playing "British Invasion" rock 'n roll and 60s American car songs, have been very successful, raising the visibility of the club under the leadership of club president Kurt Steele of the British Consulate General here in Boston. One of the high points of the day is the close-order drill performed by re-enactors in period British "Redcoat" uniforms, ending with a "fix bayonets and advance!" steady march towards the crowd of nervous tourists!
